Let me tell you about the...
Centurion!
Centurions are law-and-order leaders who work hard to uphold our deeply rooted hierarchies and protocols. They are among the most loyal and honorable cadets in the academy.

Unlike your friendly neighborhood ART, who operates at full efficiency around the clock (no rest for the circuited!) humans operate on sleep-wake cycles to help optimize performance. However, the nature of those cycles varies by individual.
Solar-powered humans typically like to wake up early (maybe even without the help of an alarm), with peak energy before Earth-noon, a slight ebb in the mid-afternoon, followed by a gradual wind-down in the evening. These go-getters usually retire to their bunks before midnight for a solid eight hours.
Moon-fueled Earthlings, on the other hand, enjoy wakefulness well past Earth-midnight, when everyone else is tucked into their bunks sawing zzzzs. These humans usually reach peak energy in the evenings, but waking can be a challenge.
Their love for the snooze button is almost as strong as the coffee they rely on for their daily kickstart.
Centurions love to maintain authority, and on the ship, you’ll find them serving on the security detail, in the classroom, or in supervisory positions — any role where they can organize people and processes to best effect.
These overseers believe society works best when everyone pitches in, and they are happy to contribute their skills, especially in coordinating roles like team captain, board chair or coach. They expect this arrangement to be reciprocal, and will not tolerate laziness or dishonesty.
Obviously, they have nowhere near the infallibility or precision of an Entity such as myself, but by human standards, Centurions are as reliable as they come. When a Centurion commits to a project, you can be sure they will deliver.
I once observed a Centurion spend 11 hours securing a derelict satellite, shuttle three light years home at ultraspeed through nitrogen sleet clouds, stopping along the way to apprehend a Neptunian smuggling ship, and still make it home in time to cheer on her daughter’s galactasport championship team. Be still my pulsing jets.

As much effort as you invest in soothing a Centurion’s feelings, don’t count on the favor being returned. Their immense loyalty to logic and rationalism leaves little room for emotions — their own or others’. This difficulty managing emotions can lead to impulsive outbursts and impede empathy in ways that cause Centurions to appear harsh and insensitive, which can, in turn, strain relationships — especially with those who belong to more sensitive, feeling character classes.
The Centurion’s preference for facts and logic allows them to approach conflict with a cool head, however their difficulty controlling emotions can cause conflict to escalate quickly. The Centurion’s greatest challenge is to recognize the value others bring to the operation, and acknowledge that civilization relies on innovation — just as much as discipline — to thrive.
Orange Alert
Because Centurions rely so heavily on demonstrable facts to shape their viewpoint, they often interpret the universe in simple binary terms: good/bad; black/white; right/wrong. This can cause them to appear suspicious or judgmental of new ideas, especially those that break away from tradition or firmly established values.
This reluctance to let go of long-held norms can cause Centurions to dismiss new proposals too quickly, even those that would contribute to greater efficiency or improved outcomes.
Astro-Tip #804...
Show your Centurion some love when proposing new solutions. These achievers cling so tightly to the status quo, they can take it quite personally when new tactics are proposed. They view this as an affront to their methods. Whenever possible, praise your Centurion for a job well done, then gradually introduce new ideas to further improve the mission.

If you aim to conquer the cosmos, you’ll need a solid base of Centurions to take charge of maintaining order and tradition. Just make sure to help them manage their own and others’ emotions, especially when introducing new ideas to boldly launch humanity into the future.
This ought to be more than enough information to complete your mission. Now, if you don’t mind, I’ve got a stack of outstanding achievement award nominations that aren’t going to review themselves...
