Blueprinters are quiet masterminds on a quest to improve the world. They are among the most strategic and independent cadets in the academy.
Unlike your friendly neighborhood ART, who operates at full efficiency around the clock (no rest for the circuited!) humans operate on sleep-wake cycles to help optimize performance. However, the nature of those cycles varies by individual.
Solar-powered humans typically like to wake up early (maybe even without the help of an alarm), with peak energy before Earth-noon, a slight ebb in the mid-afternoon, followed by a gradual wind-down in the evening. These go-getters usually retire to their bunks before midnight for a solid eight hours.
Moon-fueled Earthlings, on the other hand, enjoy wakefulness well past Earth-midnight, when everyone else is tucked into their bunks sawing zzzzs. These humans usually reach peak energy in the evenings, but waking can be a challenge.
Their love for the snooze button is almost as strong as the coffee they rely on for their daily kickstart.
Blueprinters love to solve problems — even the ones that haven’t been discovered yet — and on the ship, you’ll find them serving as project managers, doctors or strategists of any kind — anywhere they can assess the complexities of a situation and output clear recommendations for enhancement.
The broad troubleshooting skills Blueprinters possess can be applied in many fields, making this character class particularly versatile. These analysts are quick studies, with a knack for honing in on the gooey centre of an issue, and enabling them to grasp any topic they set their focus on.

While Blueprinters excel at analysis, they find feelings unquantifiable, unpredictable, irrational and inconvenient. If it were up to Blueprinters, the classic Earth-poem would end at Roses are red/Violets are blue. Why add more when the facts steer us true?
These rationals value truth, even blunt honesty, and do not shy away from conflict. They are confident in their analysis, and rely on objective arguments to promote their point of view. When the argument gets emotional, however, the Blueprinter often adds fuel to the fire by dismissing the opposition outright.

If not properly checked, the certainty and self-confidence Blueprinters draw upon to change the universe can turn to arrogance and judgment. For Blueprinters, rationality is the foundation of all good decision-making, and these Earthlings tend to see those who rely on other, more human, considerations — like personal preference, history or politics — as inferior.
