Sovereigns are big-picture leaders with ultrasonic plans. These charismatics lead the charge, inspiring others to follow, with the promise of triumph and glory. Their ability to chart a clear trajectory to the end result, no matter how complex, is unparalleled. They are among the most enterprising and driven cadets in the academy.
Unlike your friendly neighborhood ART, who operates at full efficiency around the clock (no rest for the circuited!) humans operate on sleep-wake cycles to help optimize performance. However, the nature of those cycles varies by individual.
Solar-powered humans typically like to wake up early (maybe even without the help of an alarm), with peak energy before Earth-noon, a slight ebb in the mid-afternoon, followed by a gradual wind-down in the evening. These go-getters usually retire to their bunks before midnight for a solid eight hours.
Moon-fueled Earthlings, on the other hand, enjoy wakefulness well past Earth-midnight, when everyone else is tucked into their bunks sawing zzzzs. These humans usually reach peak energy in the evenings, but waking can be a challenge.
Their love for the snooze button is almost as strong as the coffee they rely on for their daily kickstart.
Sovereigns love to be in charge, and on the ship, you’ll find them serving at the top of the command structure or striving to get there. They find satisfaction in any field so long as they have the opportunity to bring life to their ideas through leadership.

While these ambitious leaders are open to new ideas and feedback that support the mission and improve the overall outcome, Sovereigns do not respond well to what they perceive as irrational, emotional or poorly considered challenges to their goals. These sentients are also impatient and can become fierce defenders when arguing seems a waste of precious time. If this comes up, they will not hesitate to inform you of your terrible judgment in the clearest manner available. Red alert!
